2020 Better Angel Grüner
Grüner Veltliner or "The Green Grape of the Valtellina" is a unique Austrian varietal that boasts high quantities of fruit and character. Grüner is known for its expression of terroir much like the Riesling varietal. It's strong backbone of acidity encourages it's aging potential and is a great companion at the dinner table.

6 acre estate vineyard, hand tended, organic weeding practices. East facing slope, all day sun.
Typically dry and full-bodied with a peppery perfume and firm, minerally citrus and sometimes spicy flavors.
Food Pairing Notes
Traditional Austrian Weiner Schnitzel, Japanese panko-bread fried pork cutlet or fried chicken and mashed potatoes. Grilled fish, sushi rolls, and shrimp. A unique alternative to Sauvignon blanc and Riesling.
Origin: Austria. Very fruitful, with small greenish-yellow berries. Mid-ripening.
